🐻 How is your child right now?

Answer a few quick questions to find the right next step.

How is your child breathing? 🚨 Struggling to breathe, lips/fingertips turning blue, or not responding 😰 Breathing fast, nostrils flaring, or belly moving up and down with each breath 😟 Coughing a lot, wheezing, or breathing seems harder than normal 🙂 Breathing seems OK but has other symptoms (fever, runny nose, etc.)

Has your child used a rescue inhaler (like albuterol) in the last hour? Yes — and it’s not helping or wore off quickly Yes — it helped a little but breathing still seems off No — we haven’t used it yet We don’t have an inhaler / I’m not sure

Is your child eating/drinking and staying awake normally? No — refusing food/drink or unusually sleepy Mostly yes — a little off but still responsive Yes — eating and acting pretty normally

How high is the fever (if any)? 103°F+ and not responding to medication, or my baby is under 3 months old with any fever 101–103°F and I’m concerned Low-grade or no fever — just a cold or runny nose
